This does not ring true. I have not heard any reports of communications
between the ship and its headquarters being interfered with, and there would
be no need for this anyway.
Further, if Australian forces wanted to stop communications with the ship,
they don't need to use jamming because they have control of the ship's radio
Also, the SAS is an infantry special forces unit: it does not do radio
