You may be interested to hear about a new internet portal with a strong
section on Culture and Development. The Development Gateway is being built
to promote the exchange of knowledge on a wide range of topics including
several pages on Culture. You and your colleagues might like to take a look
at our Culture and Development topics, which include Heritage Preservation,
Cultural Management, Arts, Crafts, and Media.  Together they contain over
300 items such as articles, policy documents, case studies, etc.  The
highlights section features timely information, for example see G-8 Report
on Culture in a Worldwide Information Society.
