[working the meta-news angle to keep it relevant to Link]
Good luck getting through.
I imagine that by the time most Australians read this story the news
websites will have recovered enough to provide useful info.
When I first checked this morning, cnn.com was completely unreachable,
as were all the other news sites (msnbc, nytimes, etc). Even the tech
sites like slashdot were feeling the strain.
Like the rest of the company I filed into the auditorium to watch the
tragedy on TV, as it seems to be the most reliable source of info right
now.
As I write this CNN has pulled all other content on its site and is
serving a simple plain-vanilla HTML page with the news.
