Police warn of net dangers (Australian IT)
Allowing children free rein on the internet is akin to letting them
loose in an adult bookstore, police warn. The NSW Police have
released tips for internet safety aimed at parents.

House Panel Approves Kid-Friendly Internet Domain (New York Times)
A Congressional panel gave the nod Thursday to a bill that would set
up a kid-friendly zone on the Internet free of violence, pornography
or other material deemed inappropriate for children.
