With Netscape 4.7+/Linux I see the page at http://www.quantas.com/ get redirected
to the page http://www.qantas.com.au/regions/dyn/home/qualifier-region-au.

That page displays fine, although there is heaps of weirdo Javascript inside it.

Using curl from the shell, the page is returned okay. But! Using lynx in the
shell returns an empty page.

They are definitely doing some strange things. 

But I did not get a "connection refused". That error message means that
port 80 on the web server is not responding to TCP connect requests.

Suggestion: try the long URL above and let us know if it works.
