"International Trends in E-Government"
Presenter: Professor Tom Riley
Professor Riley will give an overview of international developments
in e-government, with his views on current trends and how governments
are measuring up in the changing policy environments being fostered
by new information and communication technologies. Co-Founder and
currently the Chief Executive of the Commonwealth Centre for
Electronic Governance, an associate organisation of the Commonwealth
Secretariat, Professor Riley has also been a Visiting Professor of
Law and Technology at the University of Glasgow, Scotland, since
March 1995. He is the author of "Electronic Governance and
Electronic Democracy: Living and Working in the Wired World".
