Balderdash.

I consult for a company turning over close to $300M per
yr. 40% of their revenue comes from a website running two
Apache servers, mysql, perl, and Oracle all running on Linux.

The company is publicly listed, the shares are doing very
well thank you very much. I'd say they got rich by recommending
and using open source. "They bet the farm on it!"

The only ones who get rich from Mickeysoft are Mickeysoft and the
shonky consultants they spawn. Everyone else loses.
