Fabulous!  I am glad and impressed that all this comes from Microsoft. 
The music industry needs to get its head out of the sand and stop
clutching at the past and the hope of technological solutions to restore
the former situation where only big companies were physically able to
supply perfect quality music to listeners and where listeners could only
make second rate copies, by cassette.

I have been saying this since 1994/95.
