[LINK] Is 'the Web' increasingly used to mean 'the Internet'?

I'm more concerned about people who think a web address is:

blahblah@domain.name.com

Or the immediate expectation that .au is automatically attached to all 
addresses.

The number of people we've had call the office saying they can't get to our 
web site and are using our e-mail address or the number trying to email our 
web address is incredible.

I'm also trying hard to help a client understand that "the web" is NOT 
email, and email is not "the web"
