[LINK] Linux gaining acceptance in Canberra

Well, those of you who are peeved that people are using "Linux"
to refer to "open source" should think about the way you have all
conflated "open source" and "free software"...  Some of us (not just
Richard Stallman) are advocates of free software and only incidentally
of open source -- that is, we see the ethical and political issues as
fundamental, and feel that "open source" unduly emphasizes engineering
issues such as access to source code and portability.
