[LINK] Anti-Spam filters
Sat, 19 Oct 2002 16:06:11 +1000
By controlling non-member postings will reduce spam I will still
personally end up with messages to moderate so I need good filters to
reduce my work load. Also if spam can be set to bounce hopefully the
address of the list will be deleted from the spammers mail list.
Must posts have list named in destination (to, cc) field (or be among
the acceptable alias names, specified below)?
Alias names (regexps) which qualify as explicit to or cc destination
names for this list.
Ceiling on acceptable number of recipients for a posting.
Hold posts with header value matching a specified regexp.
[suggestions for content here gratefully received]
Hide the sender of a message, replacing it with the list address
(Removes From, Sender and Reply-To fields)
[I think link would be unworkable if the senders address was
suppressed. It can be picked up in the sig anyway]
