Well, yes and no... VicNet appears to have gone through a
metamorphosis since I knew it. I notice that it now appears to have
become a web portal of sorts. Of this VicNet, I admit, I know
nothing.
The VicNet of my memory consisted of a network of Victorian
government and quasi-government PABXs. It had nothing to do (in
my time) with the Internet, simply internal voice and data
communications for the Victorian Government.
