I relate this to the recent raids on the poor people in Perth and ?? who 
had attended those lectures several years ago by that Indonesian guy.  How 
did they know that person attended that lecture?  And why persecute his 
father just because he's his father and lives in another city?

this whole thing is getting to be very bizarre.  I'm waiting for a 
politician or his/her family to be invaded by a mistake by a law 
enforcement agency and see how loud they scream.

The other thing that irks me is the rhetoric that Australia was 
attacked.  It wasn't Australia, it was Indonesian territory that was 
attacked.  That doesn't make it any better, but Australia was not 
attacked.  So far, Bali is not Australian territory.  It's ironic that the 
latest thing is the saying that there is a plan to make a pan-Islamic state 
including northern Australia, when by the rhetoric of the government, Bali 
is viewed as part of Australian territory.  [I know, it was mainly 
Australians killed - but there is no evidence that was the reason for the 
attack - that they were Australians.]
