The Australian Communications Industry Forum (ACIF) invites public comment
from industry and consumers on a draft Industry Guideline that has been
released for a 30 day public comment period - i.e.

· DR ACIF G601 Consumer Contracts Industry Guideline

DR ACIF G601 Consumer Contracts Industry Guideline provides guidance on
industry best practice for contract provisions and guidance on unfair and
unintelligible contract terms generally and in specific contexts. 

The Australian Communications Industry Forum (ACIF) is an industry owned,
operated and resourced company established by the telecommunications
industry to implement and manage communications self-regulation within
Australia.  Its primary role is to develop and administer Standards and
Industry Codes, and provide Industry Facilitation Services that promote both
the long-term interests of end-users and the efficiency and international
competitiveness of the Australian communications industry.
