OK just waiting for the article to load, but let me guess, you create a new 
word document, embed any file from the pC or network into it and then send 
it via e-mail offsite ... right?

Just make sure you click the "embed in document" rather than "link to file" 
option.

Simple.

And this is "new" ??  It was available in the 80's!
