OpenOffice.org has provision for creating import and export filters 
<http://xml.openoffice.org/filter/>, so it might be possible to customize 
it to do scripts.

Also Final Draft advertises an XML export facility 
<http://www.finaldraft.com/fd/walk06a.html> which might be used for 
interfacing to products like OO.
