Hi All,

Our organisation is working with the Commonwealth Parliament House to 
look at establishing standards for the creation and management of PDF 
files in the Commonwealth Parliament House. These potentially include 
such issues as metadata, digital rights management, accessibility, 
security and more.

While it has been straightforward finding and interviewing internal 
creators and users of PDF, it has been somewhat difficult finding 
external users and this mailing list was suggested as possibly 
providing some help.

Essentially, we would like to interview external users with regard to 
their uses of Parliament-created PDF files and the software versions 
they use in order to make sure that any recommendations for change 
internally don't adversely effect external people. The interview 
would take the form of a brief, off-list, email exchange with anyone 
who routinely (or even irregularly) downloads PDF files from the 
aph.gov.au site. If it is easier, we are happy to phone anyone rather 
than use email.

All assistance will be greatly appreciated. If you can help, please 
email me your details and we will be in touch.
