[LINK] RFI - archived newsgroups??

Hello All,

  I'm doing some research into newsgroup postings, and I was wondering
  if anyone on the list (or if anyone knows of someone else) who might
  have a comprehensive archive of Usenet postings - particularly the
  aus.* groups, especially aus.tv?

  I know Google has an archive that goes way back, and I can use this
  to a point, but it would be a lot better if I could get my hands on
  some kind of text archive of posts.

  Anyone have any idea if this sort of thing is even likely to have
  been kept by anyone?  I don't mind doing work to extract it from
  different/ancient sources...
