There are countless websites and mail list archives that are now wrong
because of the effuxion of time.  The logic of the requester would be to
attach disclaimers to all these which is patently silly.  Website sites
and Internet services come and go, just as last year's phone directory or
any other printed material for that matter goes out of date.

I would have though that intelligent users of the Internet could figure
that out.

No links from the Link Archieve to the service just a textual reference.  
We are talking about out of date material here.  Time for a reality check,
IMHO.  I'd leave it alone completely if it were me.
