Pressure may have been too strong a word. As I understand it there was 
a request from their lawyers to remove the posting as it reflected 
badly on the,. I haven't seen the letter so this is a second hand and 
probably inaccurate summary. ANU said no it's a historical document or 
words to that effect. They now ask via their lawyers that a disclaimer 
be inserted. ANU suggested this after the first letter but it was 
initially rejected.

It sounds pretty civil except the letter is from the lawyers and the 
ANU lawyers are wanting to reply.
