[LINK] A legal request to add a disclaimer to an old link posting

It seems to me, that the appropriate action (given the medium) would be
for the agrieved party to respond by email [to the posting to link]
themselves - not sure where this makes it into the archive.
Besides being impractical, the insertion of
disclaimers/rebuttals/apologies - could lead to a complaint from the
original poster - particularly if the posting was accurate at the time
and the disclaimer implies otherwise. Given the context should you be
tampering with the electronic evidence?
This is a new area of law - we need to be careful not to set the wrong
precedent!
