you cant stop there dazza. Why? I find them a tool of choice for supporting my
clients. I am always on yahoo IM and often on AIM which is the one i started
with as a Netscape user. I teach people to use AIM in my introductory Internet
courses. Its easy and straightforward.

One of the best things after price dingo blue offered was the face time chat -
an IM of sorts and inspite of its american spelling. You had a record of the
conversation to keep and didnt often sit inline being told "how important your
call is to us"

Yahoo is probably my tool of choice now because of its ease of use with both
voice and camera. Of course I'm on a 512/128 adsl connection so can support
them better.

I know the privacy policy of some of them was pretty awful but i thought that
had been moved into the 'acceptable range' now?

Cant wait to hear why I should cease and desist from IM tools.

....

;-)

cheers
brenda

I'd be interested to know why the passionate refusal to use them.
