<quote>
The Outlook E-mail Security Update provides additional levels of protection
against malicious e-mail messages.
The update changes the way that attachments are handled by Outlook, and the
way that Outlook can be controlled programmatically.

>From what I can gather, Microsoft decided in their wisdom that they would
introduce an enhanced security feature that would slow down the automated
sending of emails with attachments.

Unfortunately, they have stopped users with valid (ie not malicious)
requirements doing just that. Each email now requires the user to click on
an OK button. So if you are sending more than one or two, it gets a little
tedious, not to mention frustrating.

Not only that, but if you follow their instructions to disable this feature
you run the risk of all sorts of nasty things happening that are worse than
the original problem.

the harms it would cause if improperly administered.
