They are going for Universities precisely because they are soft targets.
Universities exist all over the world, they don't like to break the law or
even be contentious with opinions (despite academic freedom rhetoric) and
they have shiploads of yoofs to reach easily.
Putting the frighteners on a few universities in Australia pays enormous
dividends in the propaganda war worldwide. Universities already are
sensitised to copyright issues and will cave in and issue statements all
over the press and campuses and to each student on logging in * Do not
copy / download music* .
A cheap way to generate publicity and put pressure on governments to bring
in a blank CD tax.
