A few minor notes
- the issue isn't the e-mail, but the archiving
"as you continue to publish..."
- the archiving is beyond Bernard's control, so Mr
Gamble's e-mail appears to be misdirected.
- the e-mail doesn't contain the same broadcast/
transcript which Mr Gamble has taken up with
Sunday. BRD's e-mail includes a synopsis of that
program which may or may not contain the issue
Mr Gamble claims to have settled with Sunday.
Mr Gamble's e-mail contains insufficient and
conflicting detail for Bernard to determine
if the different document he e-mailed contains
the same alleged defamation as the Sunday
- It is not clear what action Mr Gamble wants
Bernard to take. Apparently lawyers have been
briefed, so Bernard should wait for papers to
All in all it seems a most inappropriate first contact
Still, since the Link Institute lacks a lawyer, perhaps
obliterating the paras in the archive referring to Mr Gamble
and adding a link to his e-mail to Bernard would allow
people to draw their own conclusions regarding Mr Gamble
whilst removing his legal leverage.
