Apologies for the OT but someone might know the answer.

I think I am right in saying that with GSM there is the ability to set
the time delay before the message bank cuts in for unanswered calls.

My partner has just bought a CDMA mobile and it appears to have no
ability to set the delay. Basically the caller gets about 6 ring cycles
and the mobile gets about 4 ring cycles and then it cuts over to message
bank. Her old CDMA used to do the same thing. This is way too short.

Is this a problem with CDMA, with Telstra (her provider), or her phone
(this one is LG, prev was Hyundai).
