Last time I looked at Macquarie [before the online version required
subscription], it listed many 'z-ified' words as perfectly valid
alternates for the traditional Aussie 's' versions.
organised -> organized
realise -> realize
..and so on. I noted that the 's' version is given first - perhaps
indicating some authority - but I'm not sure the old
'Macquarie-over-all' line is going to hold much chop any more...
Our English is becoming a little more Americanized, it seems.
..and a question for Ash:

Does that still work for documents that are not generated using that
template? We have all kinds of issues that are generated by users not
checking externally-generated documents for things like page size
settings and printing preferences.
