While Red Hat has stopped support for versions before RHL9, the
Fedora Legacy project is still back-porting any new security-related
patches to version 9 at least. Their support for 7.2 has ceased but
they're still supporting 7.3..

I maintain a number of RHL9 boxes rather seamlessly using yum
pointing to the Fedora Legacy servers.
