Bah Rick, you are missing the real point.
Did they check for EVERY PIRATED copy? And if so, did they make all those
people buy copies or hit them with copyright infringement notices?
:)
Or is this an ambit stab in the dark based on ten people from IDC sitting
around a conference table saying "I've got a pirated version, I don't."
