And if you look at the average population of the USA you'll note it's 100 
times the size of Australia, packed into the same space, with an economy 
roughly 100 times the value of Australia.  So their pay can be 100 times 
higher than the Aussie CEO, and I can assure you, in most cases it is not 
even close to that.
