Dear Linkers

Microsoft's website on events and webcasts discusses upcoming security
seminars, but check the laptop used at
http://www.microsoft.com/seminar/events/security.mspx

(those in the know will easily identify the machine, with the logo
removed via airbrushing).

Perhaps MS have decided to take to heart the report from mi2g's
'Intelligence Unit' [http://www.mi2g.net/cgi/mi2g/press/190204_2.php]
that the world's safest and most secure online server operating system
is proving to be the Open Source family of BSD (Berkley Software
Distribution) and the Mac OS X based on Darwin. The same report also
claims that Linux systems fared less well (being the most-breached
online server OS), possibly due to operator error more than system
error, from the analysis.
