I have found no evidence that NAFTA has had a chilling or other detrimental
effect on Open Source in Canada.  I would be interested in evidence of anything
to that effect for the proposed USAFTA. I see nothing to this effect at
<http://www.nofta.org/impacts/index.html>.

NAFTA might be friendly to investment but it was not all that
friendly to democracy.
