Hmmm,  interesting.  I have noticed that in the past two days, my 
dialup line has been failing to connect on a regular basis.  This is 
certainly aberrant behavior, my logs demonstrate that the dialup 
regularly connects on the first attempt.  Over the last couple of 
days, the router has timed out on many attempts, only connecting 
after many retries.  

Of course, this can be attributed to many variables, including the 
incredible storms we have been experiencing here in SEQ and even 
higher than usual phone usage (accompanied with underprovisioning by 
the local telco).

I would be interested to know if any other Linkers are experiencing 
similar problems.
