But saying something is funded by Government is the issue. It's not
Government that is funding it, Government is the facilitator, the Tax Payer
is funding it.
Government agencies do not make sufficient income from "trade" to pay their
staff, yet along FUND public facilities. If Government made a PROFIT from
it's services, then it could say it FUNDED a project.
If we all stopped paying Taxes tomorrow, would the Government be able to
FUND these projects?
"The facility has been funded by the tax payer via the NSW State Government."
Is a correct statement. Not a "Big Brother" version.

Depends on your local Government. Mine makes $200 million a year just from
rates. I can assure it doesn't spend that much on Rubbish
services! Considering 90% of the shire is uninhabited!

I'll go with that one! I've not got another Government Agency trying to
use a large Accounting Firm to pressure me into giving out confidential
Didn't they warn the Large Accounting Firm that telling me fibs was a bad idea?
Maybe I should change my signature to:
"Keeping Government Accountable"
