[LINK] MPAA says 1/5 Australians download movies

Amazing.

"About one in four Internet users (24%) have downloaded a movie."

Then later in the methodology "section" (ie paragraph) they say they
selected the participants from those who were "screened to be active
moviegoers" and "Broadband users were specifically targeted for this study
in order to represent the next generation of Internet users (approximately
80% of sample)"

Maybe it's not such a jump from "broadband using, active moviegoer" to
"Internet user". But where did they find these people?

True, but often traffic within the ISP is uncapped. I am (ahem) reliably
informed that most of the ISPs have flourising P2P networks within their own
userbase.
