[LINK] Gittins on software patents

Wierdness. I, too, use Mozilla - both Firebird and Thunderbird (browser
and e-mail).

If I use the link (ie copy-and-paste), the story opens directly (no
registration diversion). If I click from the e-mail link, I get the
diversion to the story (as Roger observed). Opening from the e-mailed
link, the browser's location bar is also different:
file:///C:/DOCUME~1/TRUDI/LOCALS~1/TEMP/splash.do-1.html

I think there's a slip in how Mozilla opens links. It never mattered to
me, because I never open the link "from" the e-mail...
