"The Demand & Value Assessment Methodology developed as part of the E-
government Benefits Study has been publicly released by AGIMO last week.
The Demand and Value Assessment Methodologies assist agencies in
developing transparent and auditable assessments of demand and value
propositions for online-government programs. These propositions underpin
the business case and assist in substantiating the viability of the
initiative, in justifying resource investment and in demonstrating
transparency and accountability, a key objective of the Better Services
Better Government strategy. The methodology provides for a consistent
approach across agencies.
Training in how to apply the methodology is available. Details about the
methodology and its availability can be found on the AGIMO website at
http://www.agimo.gov.au/government/damvam ."
The kit includes a 128p handbook, spreadsheet and 19 activity documents (eg
"Describe the Proposed Service").
