Although I would never encourage such activity, if it were legal to
download / intercept another person's email, there are certainly enough
boffins out there on the 'net with the talent to do so. A well publicised
private email from a senator, lobbyist, etc. to the pm's office might make
a difference to this kind of blinkered legislation.
