There is no such animal as a white hat by day and a black hat by night.
There are a number of bat hats posing as white hats however.
There are also some grey areas between white and black hats and I suspect a
lot of people will fall into those areas. The main difference however is
the intent. White hats NEVER intend to cause harm whilst black hats do.
Much like vandals, you can't say you aren't a vandal if you only operate at
night and are law abiding during the day. You either are or aren't.
