Go earlier - Video Recorders, edit Suites, I'm sure Aircraft have had this 
feature too!

What about Two Way radios?  Gosh my earliest "digital" 27Mhz radio has a 
single, double or tipple press button that does three things!

At that time, Windows 1 was being conceived.
