I am sure there are economic reasons for the following two items
on my phone bill (New Tel):

    Call from SYD to Katoomba,NSW     (dur. 1:03:51)   $13.90
    Call from SYD to Edmonton,Canada  (dur. 1:09:59)   $ 7.45

50 km vs 8000 km!

Yes, I am investigating further. I'm still waiting on hold
after waiting 10 moinutes :(
