Hi Jan,
as a supplier of ADSL services, we find that transposition requests
are usually quite effective. They usually have the side-effect of
improving modem performance on your line too (sometimes the
opposite). There's nothing really to be lost by trying this route.
The new technology stuff - minimux cards for RIMs - appears to be
working for our customers, although we have had a few customers
where they had the ADSL connected and not working for up to two
months - it looks like they have some more ironing out of teething
troubles before they deploy thhe minimux cards widely.
