The Federal Opposition has accused Telstra of paying more money to the
Liberal and National Parties than to the ALP in political donations.

Labor says in the past financial year the Coalition received more than
$40,000 from Telstra, while the Opposition only got $3,000.

Telstra spokesman Rod Bruem says it does not make donations but
sometimes pays to attend political functions and most recently paid
$14,000 to attend Labor's national conference.
