Regarding local uni lectures being placed online, the following email
(from another list) relates that Deakin Uni is doing something similiar.

This may seem a trend, and thus may lead to spin-off effects in terms
of individual lecturing and presenter skills etc ... (or at least in a dress
code for uni staff anyway :-)
