Quite: all this is worse than the standard disclaimers that we see when 
installing software. A technological flag is all but useless after the 
first click.

Why not? This is so much simpler.

As a matter of interest, all e-mail boxes in our workplace are open to 
all staff, and we can proxy in the each other's e-mail without 
restriction, just as we do with incoming snail mail. It increases our 
efficiency, accountability, and improves the level of communication - 
and ensures that matters can be attended to without fuss or delay, even 
when staff are on leave: no more 'out-of-office' auto-replies clogging 
systems.
