how? machinery is not a replacement for people, but an augmentation of
their powers, making machines responsible is abrogating our human duty
of care.
the idea of life-critical decisions being made by machines makes my
blood chill, and every instance of it seems to end up with nobody taking
the blame for bludners.
"sorry, sir/madam, the computer made a mistake". bullsh*t!
i think we are over-computerising the society, in the very areas where
we need humans in the loop more than ever.
