Intriguing:
-   it picks up *lots* of hits
-   it doesn't appear to apply much weighting to back-referencing, and
     consequently seems to omit bibliographies and index-pages
-   it picks up entries in reference lists even where it doesn't seem
     to have indexed the page referred to (which is good)
-   but it appears to miss papers on sites that it has clearly visited
     - and from which it has indexed lots of *other* papers (which is bad)
