Hey LINKers,
Just to correct something I said yesterday, the core of MySource Matrix
is Open Source. The commercial modules however have their own commercial
license.
I apologise for stating otherwise in an earlier email.
However, the Whitebrand product is a combination of the Open Source
MySource Matrix core components and the provision of the commercial
modules at no cost, along with additional tools and services, including
a W3C XHTML compliant (and Australian Government compliant) and
accessible site design, AGLS metadata configuration, workflow
configuration, etc.
The Whitebrand package is available not only to Federal Government
agencies, but also to state and local governments, educational
institutions (including schools of all levels) and
not-for-profit/charity organisations.
If you'd like more information, or contact details for the person
responsible for the Whitebrand package within Squiz, please email me
directly.
Thanks,
Avi
