correction: it can be made "unalterable" until someone runs one of the

and PDF can't really be made to do either, it can only pretend.

IMO, it is not a useful feature for software to pretend to do something that
it doesn't and can't do...and, as far as security goes, it provides worse
security than an application which does not make false claims - the false
illusion of security is worse, much worse, than knowing you have no security
at all.
