[LINK] Westpac snubs global anti-phishing efforts as attacks on Aussie banks continue

Yes, I received on purporting to have come from the Commonwealth Bank.
The first thing people should ask themselves is, did I give the bank
my email address? And secondly, why would they write to me when there
are internal email systems available from most online banking
services. Apart from that, I don't respond to any such emails no
matter what the claim.

What did concern me this morning was that there was no mention of
these "attacks" on the Commonwealth Bank site. NAB makes mention of
them, but I couldn't find anything about it on Commbank.com.au.
